The house was built by India’s government-owned construction
agency Central Public Works Department (CPWD) at an estimated cost of 90
million US dollars.
The day was observed to mark the birth anniversary of
former-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The award was instituted by the BCCI in 1994 to celebrate the
birth centenary of Col. Cottari Kanakaiya Nayudu, the country’s first test
captain.
The partnership is aimed at fulfilling TOR-1M missile systems
and radar requirements of Indian armed forces.
